Ingorda publishing - Florence University of the arts

The journalism school at FUA has an independent company that publishes books and magazines created entirely by students. I spent the summer of 2016 in Florence interning there at Ingorda, and I was given the task of creating images to be used in one of their upcoming books. The book was centered around the smokey-eyed fashion figure and Italian socialite, Luisa Casati. After in-depth research of her biography and way of life, I decided to go in a creative direction that emulated her style: lavish, eccentric, and distinguished.

I am a member of a volunteer-based Rocky Horror shadowcast in the Dallas area. I held the position of Marketing Manager for a couple of years- handling all of the graphics, marketing, and promotions. We wanted things that were eye-grabbing to draw in potential audience members and generate interest in our show. My personal goal while creating promotional images for the cast was to put a new spin on an old and treasured movie.
